SO here's what I put together this morning. It's loud, Urban, crazy ,and guaranteed to grab people by the faces.

There are two versions, the difference in the two is the slogans use different typefaces.

Whoa whoa whoa.... I was complimenting you, and i was complimenting your work, you said it was "Ubran and Crazy" right there. The second one appeals to me because its more grungy. (with the font) "That Shyt" was the same use of the word as "duuuuuuude this place is the shyt" Harlem is an urban area. By saying that it would go good in Harlem, i was saying that you did a good job making it an urban themed eye catcher.

As to the second part. I know im not good with orriginal Photoshop stuff, and i dont really care what people think about my work, i did it and that was enough.

I dont use lense-flares?

Edit: I was not being a jerk, im having a hard time seeing how my comment was snide or crapfilled.

Thanks for the suggestions While I like the second one a lot with the texture typeface, I agree with Sean, and it's also quicker and easier to read.

Heh, cool. I thought it was one of those crazy Futurist razzle-dazzle patterns at first, until I looked closely.
Nobody's mentioned it, but this isn't exactly going to be cheap to print.. I kinda suggest you work with simple vectors. It'll keep the file size down, and make sure you're working with solid areas of color. If you need to pull in graphics, you can always do the filter and auto-vectorize tricks, or trace your own vector. Reading back.. follow your own guidelines for the cheaper banner- at this point I'm fairly certain we don't have any money.

a new logo is being made up for the site/patches/banners etc.. draft 1 is done, and it will go to the staff, before it goes to the public. something we can use without worrying about how it's used. (can't do that with the UNSC eagle, or any halo related stuff necessarily)
