Well since the series Leet and Cega is coming up slowly, ive needed to make props and armor. The bane of my existence, the full scaled drop pods. If there is anyone who can send me blueprints or drawings i would appreciate.

Btw, the way i plan to make these are by making one out of very small detailed pieces, resining those and casting off of them. So IF i can actually get this done i will sell them for not so much!

EDIT: sorry for being unclear

EDIT:im gonna be using a scaled form of pepakura, as in ive already built this model to show you what i mean, its 6 exact inches and will be scaled to a six foot door.

I'm in agreeance with Box o Crayons. You're looking at about $180 per gallon of Rebound silicon rubber, which'll probably cover 5-6 square feet of surface. And for something the size of a SOEIV, you're looking at something like 100 square feet of surface area alone.

That's 18,000 in rubber alone. That doesn't include the frames for the molds, plastics, or the original build.

You're best off just making it out of wood and posting the plans for others to build their own wooden SOEIVs.

Most of it could be made with plywood, I would think....

For the basic shape, if there's a pep file here's my idea. Get the pep pieces w/o tabs printed on transparencies and project them (as the right size) on plywood. Trace with marker. cut out and assemble.

Ive changed my mind and decided to make 2 drop pods out of this sh*tload of cardboard under my house, its on a raised foundation so we store stuff under there. eventually i might sell them for munnies! but sooner or later cega and blade are gonna use the pods and leets gonna use an odst drop suit which i devised.

Something like this?

yeah im thinking of only making the top 3/4 section. and for full shots just use a good cg program to fill in that bottom portion!

Why not just use CG for the whole thing if you have that capability? A drop pod seems like it will make a useless piece of furniture or a rather expensive lawn ornament.
