HOLY.

so, I looked outside.

beautiful day.

tons of sun,

So I decided to resin my Mark V helmet.

I come back out.

SUPER WINDY AND NO SUN AT ALL.

now, my helmet isnt wanting to dry very good.

I know tomorrow is going to be a nice day but

does anybody have any tips to try and keep the helmet from deforming until tomorrow?

I put the helmet under my heaters so some warm air can try and help but not much luck.

...I'm screwed

Throw more hardening catalyst on it and stuff it with old clothes that you wouldn't mind tossing?

I had the same problem and i used the curing box method but what i did was i boiled water poured it in an empty apple juice container and then used an old garbage can to cover it and in an hour it was cured. Leave the cap off the juice container. Works perfectly. I used it to dry the fiberglass on both shoulders and resin on the boots. I forget who gave me the idea but it was on this forum.
