Fallout 3 power armor helmet WIP

I LOVE this build. I've been a Fallout nut since the first PC game. This helmet is spot on. The rust effect is just perfect. All those added bits and pieces sell the detail flawlessly. You have some major talent sir.

It came together with the paint and weathering i have to admit. And the breathing tubes look amazing, better than i imagined. Thanks again man

Agreed, the paint makes it. The sanding was long and drawn out but i wouldnt change it hehe. I was at the site working most of yesterday (Distracted by this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/43859044@N02/5850965268/in/set-72157625084438981 ) but i forgot to take a photo of the back sorry. Ill be in there tomorrow so ill make certain i get a few of it. The section where the tubes will sit hasnt been cut out yet as i havent got a drill bit/hole cutter the right size yet.

looks pretty good, how are you going to weather the plastic/rubber?

Surprisingly it doesnt need much at all (If any) as in person the black blends in. If its needed ill drybrush over the raised edges with a flexible grey paint.

To do list:
- Electronics/LEDs
- Wire tube 'stays'
- Padding on the inside of the helmet
- ...there might be something i change later cause its not 'right' enough...
