Usually when you fiberglass the surface gets uneven. I dont have any bondo but i cane up with an idea. What if i fiberglass the outside a couple of layers and then use a sander to smoth it out. i have a powertool with a sanding head.Do you guys think this will be a good idea?

Not a good idea. You will loose a HUGE ammount of detail and no matter how much you sand it, you will not get the same detail you can get with bondo (Unless you go uber crazey with it...).

well first off, fiberglassing on the outside breaks the cardinal rule of pepakura armour making lol. that just sends you into places you don't want to go to. i suggest just fiberglassing on the inside of the pieces. that way you get the strength, AND the detail.

So even though you dont have bondo and it is kinda messy, you can use plaster of paris then carve out details. Then cover it in resin that will also give you detail if you dont like bondo hope that helps mate.
