Finished Recon Helmet

Finally I'm done!

This is my first Pepakura model.

Painted and well, my Halo 3 Recon Helmet.

Visor inside, It looks pretty nice if you ask me!

It looks very good well done. What kind of paint or coating is that?

I used hammerite spraypaint green for it.

After that, I used gloss spraypaint over it.

Than you get that effect.

looks like it suffered a bit of warping... good job though, i was planning to make a silver recon helm a while back...

very nice. I really like the paint on it, that is one thing that I do not know how I am going to do it yet, but then again I have not looked into it a lot yet, but great first helmet

Does anyone know where I can buy cheap resin and hardener?

the cheapest place I have found it around me is meijer other places like auto zone want double the price for the same, thing it is crazy. Wal mart has it pretty cheap though it's just a couple buck more, it is usually with car paint. check lowes and home dept as well.
