Okay, I have a serious question to ask of you all. As stated when creating this thread, I told that the Engineer suit WAS, in fact, a ripped model my friend gave me about a year ago. Now, I am aware of distribution of ripped models, even when giving credit, is illegal. But I was unaware that .pdos could be converted back to .obj so I thought they would be useless in a digital sense, and could only be available in .pdo format. Now, realizing I could possibly be distributing a form of a ripped model that could be used for digital purposes (.obj), I'm feeling even more uncomfortable having an open download link available...
Should I:
1) Keep the link download (bad).
2) Remove the link all together and do not provide a public distribution.
3) Contact Visceral Games/EA and request permission to distribute. (highly unlikely outcome)
For now, The link is being removed until I come up with a decision... This is kind of bothering me, knowing a good amount of people have already downloaded the suit. I didn't think it would be such a big deal but now I'm not as eager to share.
I hope you guys can give me your opinions. As right now, I'm thinking of removing the download all together.
