First Build! ODST

What thickness are you using perchance? Its definitely on my list of things to go back and do to make a proper undersuit for my ODST build.

I'm using 6mm and 4mm, with a few small 2mm pieces for detail.

Did some more fabric work over the weekend...sadly not as much progress as I would really like, but the vest is almost wrapped up.

This was mostly freehanded and isn't perfectly symmetrical, but it'll do (especially when wrapped around my torso).
The back is also complete, just needs the leather spine covering to be attached sometime this week.

Finally, completed the straps that will wrap over the shoulders and around my waist to physically connect the two halves of the vest and provide more mounting points for straps & belts etc.

I used some black cotton/jersey fabric, 1/2" project upholstery foam for thickness, grey lightweight denim, and black marine vinyl for this portion of the undersuit project.

Unrelated: While I worked on this I finished printing about 90% of my wife's Halo 3 Marine armor, just need to print the last two shin pieces and we can have a sanding/painting party sometime in the next couple of weeks.

LOVE seeing another ODST building a marine for their SO! Both the ODST build and the marine helmet are looking tops so far man!
