If you're in or near canada, there's a store called Dollarama that sells hard hats for $5, or what I did was buy a bunch of thick dish sponges and stack them in the elite helmet until they wrap around your head.

I live in the states and got one ordered I hope works out, but thank you for the reply! I can try the sponges if the hat doesn’t work out I like that idea

Hard hat thankfully fits well! I’m a bit worried about all the weight on my head however, it’s pretty heavy all put together. Is there any way to alleviate some of the weight or is that just the nature of the beast with this build?

About now is where I’m really starting to think about all the weight I’m going to have on me. Going to have to be extra careful during the con to stay hydrated and what not.

Con’s a week away, so the pressure’s on from here on out! I want to attach toes to my shoes, what would be the best way to accomplish this? Tried Velcro but the piece just flops around and clanks on the ground when I walk

maybe you could cut an elite foot-shaped piece from a foam mat and glue everything on top for structure

I believe this will be the last post I make on this thread! While I’ve learned some lessons and improvements will be made, I am quite satisfied with how everything worked out! I was moved by how much love and appreciation I got on Saturday during my con! Thank you to everyone here who gave me a helping hand and showed support! I’m looking forward to more projects in the future!
