Foam Halo Infinite Mjolnir MK VII Armor WIP

Hello Everyone! This is one of my first few posts and I just wanted to put a couple of the projects I am currently working on out there! This is a MK VII helmet from the multiplayer of halo infinite (and now MCC) made out of foam using templates created by other amazing creators and 3D modelers that brought super accurate halo infinite foam templates to the masses! It is currently unpainted and unsealed but I hope to update this thread as I make more progress!

From what I can tell the top of the helmet sits slightly off-kilter which I hope to fix with a heat gun in the future.

Hello! I’m pretty new when it comes to using these forums so I apologize if this link doesn’t work, the “Attach Files” wouldn’t allow me to put in the original but here is the URL to the one I used. https://www.405th.com/forums/attachments/halo-infinite-mk-7-helmet-foam-unfold-pdo.301988/ let me know if this works, if it doesn’t I will try to find another way to put it in. Hope this helps!
Also just wondering what thicknesses of foam you used for the build. Just so I have an idea on what to use

Since my last helmet post which was a long while ago I have been able to make some small progress on other parts of my Mk7 armor. I have so far made both shin pieces, one boot, and a bicep/piece. I have been battling some foam supply issues so progress is slow but progress is progress!

As I made more progress on the rest of my armor , I noticed that a couple of the foam templates for some armor pieces are just a little inaccurate or missing some details for foam construction such as the chest plate, cod piece, and forearms. The modelers did an incredible job given the reference they had but I was wondering if anyone could help me out in finding some more accurate foam templates? Thanks!

I know I definitely missed a detail (or maybe two) on the forearm I did for the foam pattern, at least compared to the cosplay guide. The 3D model has that fixed but you'd have to unfold it again.

On Amazon, you can get a 20 pack of foam for 15$-20$. It's nice and sturdy too.
