Hello everybody , my aim is it so to create the best and accurate ODST helmet ever made !
I used the awesome clay in helmet methode fore the main shape.
Big Thanks to Skylow http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/26253-Pepakura-Clay-Pour-helmet-Method
As pepakura I used the Kirrou_ODST_HD_Rookie_helmet http://halocostuming.wikia.com/wiki/Pepakura_File_Index from the halopep wiki , also big thanks to the Creator !

I used the Chavant NSP Clay wax based I orderd it at http://www.kaupo.de/Produktkatalog/Modelliermasse/Chavant-Clay.html

OKAY, lets start !!
I peped the Kirrou_ODST_HD_Rookie_helmet invert to make it smoother inside.

Thats a pic of the first try , it was a fail :D

W0W! Thats amazing! Everything already looks fantastic and its still at an early stage! ATM, I see no problems at all. Do you have any pics of the back?

Looks awesome bro! Keep it up!

very nice work, I commend you! this looks like a very difficult task, and haha, I thought pep was hard! :p

This looks good so far. I'm thinking of trying my hand at clay too, but I'd like to watch someone else's process first. Do you have much experience working with clay? You seem to look like you know what you're doing.

you pick it up pretty quickly, and you soon figure out the most useful sculpting tools you have, I had never sculpted before i started my mass effect helmet sculpt but i now know which tools to use for what eg smoothing, carving, rounded details, sharp details. As long as you have an eye for detail and the will to make an awesome end product then the possibilities are endless :D

this just blows me away... the detail is just incredible... just amazing... i'm so subscribed to this thread!!!

Thank you for these kind words, I will make it accurate as possible , thats my AIM !
These are my main references :From the Game HALO ODST
