Well, I'm using this in a movie that we'll be filming in winter, so maybe it'll be alright.


Update on the head, I have the pepakura pieces cut out, I'm folding the pieces now and, depending on what time I finish folding, I may tape it together.

Yeah, you're right about the pads. I think I'm gonna get some, and then raise them above my shoulders a bit so it fills out the space where I want the elite shoulders to go.

Almost looks like there is another pad near the elbow...

I would build it up around mid shoulder...

Then cover it with some of this other foam stuff... It's headliner cloth?
I mean for underneath the skin part...

Maybe we should contact him...

Im still debating whether to use football pads or not. I want the costume to be as light as possible so i might just shape the shoulders out of foam. That way it will be light and cool. What foam are you planning on using? I found some big rolls of green foam at Joanns Craft Store. It gets expensive though the thicker you want it. Any ideas?

About the feet: I am planning on covering the stilts with foam sculpted to look like their feet. I need to find something to use as soles on the outside too.

Iam going to get all my supplies right now.

thanks for posting that tutorial, it should help. So he used upholstery foam. I'll see if I can find some for cheap.

You should have the bottom of the stilt carved in the shape on the bottom of the foot...

I built a quicke for u guys today, idk if i'm actually gonna use them. but i bulit the stilts to resemble an elite's foot, but i didnt have any reference pics so i didnt know how i should do the heel. For the time being i just taped my shoes on to try them. I'll get a cheap pair to screw on later. Also i donot have the bungie cords or struts attached.


**Make sure when u prsctice do it where u have some cushioning, I almost busted my face of the concrete when i was trying them.

I finished glueing the helmet together but I need to buy some more resin so I can try and finish it tonight. I will be going out of town tonight so I wont be able to get anything done until maybe sunday or monday. I went wrong somewhere while glueing the pepakura together so the back may look a wonky for now. I will try and get pics after I resin it.
