hello,

I know I shouldn't be making a whole thread about this I will probably will get beat lol buut

I saw a topic yesterday about somebody using white elmers glue on a piece of armour and then putting gypsum on it and appearently it works really well.

I'm just wondering if anybody has a link I could go to or something, I tried looking for it but phailed. : (

any help?

Um, the only way I know how to use Elmer's glue for strengthening is instead of applying resin to fiberglass, you can use Elmer's glue.

Plaster is gypsum.

Get a $3 bucket of patch plaster and get cracking. Just make sure to seal and reinforce it with resin or watered-down white glue etc.

Personally I prefer the durability of bondo if you plan on actually wearing it. For a master going to be molded, especially a helmet, plaster can be a lot easier.

EDIT: Thanks for the link Queen
