H3 Chief Armor - Build Progress

I'm having the same reservation about the gouge in the chest on my H4 armor. Someone needs to tell the chief to stop chest- bumping the enemy...

it's not a chest bump, just from all those times he fell over when his superiors accidentally gave him a pat on the back after a job well done.

Yeah I'm thinking more towards keep it clean. Only a few weeks of service off the assembly line in the field. Don't want to "hide" any of my armor detail with excessive paint weathering. H2A keeps coming to mind.

But I'm scard!! Lol what I was actually thinking is keep this one clean but then later build another chest piece with the big halo 3 chest gouge to also use from time to time. That way I have options. I may also have to build a mk V halo ce helmet too...

Finally got my paint job nailed down last night on the practice piece. This is pretty much what I invision for the actual suit give or take some small gouges here and there. The pics really don't do just with how neat this paint color catches and shimmers light all while being a matte color with the little hints of metallic. Definitely excited to see the suit look like this for sure! Definitely using H2A and Infinite concept art for my inspiration as that seems to be the best representation of MC in hi def.

I know some of you saw these on IG already, posting on here for people not on IG... **cough** Sean Anwalt ... hahaha

Thanks man! Im really excited to finally nail down the paint. These pics aren't the greatest but I like how they show it in low light. In day light, it really pops nicely!
