I finished rigging the chest, straps and abdomen sections together and I’m very very pleased with the outcome!

Also, shins/knees are complete and painted, adding all the proper strapping to them and then Weathering! More updates soon!

Today, I’ll hopefully be finishing rigging up the second shin, painting the thighs and rigging those as well. In the meantime, I painted my M6C Automag last night.

Inspire Base Metallic Grey
Wash (Liquidtex Ivory Black & Burnt Umber)
Rub ‘n Buff Silver Leaf for highlights.

Finally got around to finishing the strapping for my shins!!! I used 3/4” nylon straps with black plastic side release buckles. I fixed the knees with 1.5” elastic straps, they sit on top of the shin pretty nicely. I walked around in them for about an hour to test for comfortable!

Late night update. Got around to painting, scarring up and weathering the thighs. Mannnn my ODST is going to be one dirty boy!

I need to shape the thigh clips and attach them and of course add the strapping... one step closer!

Small update, I finished mounting and wiring the cooling system in my helmet. Nothing too fancy, it’s two 5015 blowers and one 4010 fan(s). All 5v and running from a single 2,000mAh LiPo battery.

Switch controlled and using an Adafruit Power Boost 500 to manage and charge the batteries.

I also 3D Printed a duct to blow over the visor from the top and some covers for the 5015’s which help circulate air in and out.
