The shotty looks good in the digital design. Im sure you can make the real thing. I've seen people make crazy stuff on here lol Things I never thought could be replicated. o_o

Thanks bevbor you'll have to tell me how you did this

I'll have another go at unfoldnging when I get the time.

Just wish you had left it with more parts instead of a 1 piece gonna go insane now after unfolding this version lol

Oh, it is really easy :)

1. Convert .obj to .stl with MeshLab

2. Open .stl with SolidWorks

3. Convert all surface bodies to solid bodies, closing surface bodies where needed

4. Join all solid bodies to required number of solid bodies (in this case I made two - one for rifle and another for loading cover)

5. Adjust scale and save resulting bodies as .STEP file

6. Open .STEP with ProEngineer

7. Export it as .OBJ

That's all :)

Hi all,

I just reworked this model :) WMHunter, is it OK?

If yes, I woud like to share it there.

If no, I'll just remove the link :)

Now it is all in one piece, all internal crossed geometry is cut and tossed without remorse :)

Now, it's scale is 1:1, so if you unfold it with scale "1" you'll got full scale model. (1239 mm in length as is in Halopedia)

Oh, uh, and there's NO OPEN EDGES! :)

Good luck.

Thx bevbor for the cleanup. U and hunter are possibly the best modelers out there on this site.

still its no biggie folks will can just resize the file anways :)

I wan't to thank you for opening this shoot gun. I tried but failed miseribly. You wouldn't happen to have files for a M16 would you.
