OH! I just got one! What you all think of one of the characters being a girl! Girls join the military! Take the medic from Halo:Landfall (the short film) for example, shes a girl! I have a name for her too, Jane. Awsome name!

Sorry for double post again, but I have a sneek peek oof the script. Just a little teaser for you all.
Here it is;
HALO: CONTACT HARVEST SCREENPLAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2008
Screen opens on boy with hair blowing in the wind durring sunset :
Andy- I don't know if they did it for pleasure or other reasons. All I know is they slautered us like anamals. No mercey. Nothing but hate. They took everything from me. Famialy, friends, my home. I cant tell you what I've been through, but I can show you...
(Sceen fades to black : Opens on Andy sipping coffee from mug, listening to radio- music: Three Days Grace in background)
Com. (Private) - Sir, nothing yet.
Com. (Officer) - Keep scanning...
Com. (Private) - Sir, we have a UFO flying in from the South.
Com. (Officer) - Give me a visuel comfromation of the UFO.
Com. (Private) - Sir, we have a visuel comfromation of the craft. Its not ours sir. Should we fire a warning shot?
Com. (Officer) - Negative, send a message to turn around immedeatly. Failing to do so will result in us firing on them.
Com. (Private) - Message sent, waiting for reply...
Sir, we have a Reply, you should hear this, its not UNSC traffic, listen...
(Brutes talking in there language over Com.)
Com. (Private) - Sir, should we fire?
Com. (Officer) - Negative, wait and see what happens...
Com. (Private) - Sir, there on top of us. The ship is huge, definatly not Human that I know of...
Com. (Officer) - Send me some images, I'll comfirm.
Com. (Private) - Uploading now sir...
Sir, it looks like there sending something down through some sort of gravity device.
Com. (Officer) - Human?
Com. (Private) - No sir. Primission to engage If hostel?
Com. (Officer) - Primission granted.
(Long silence. Radio flickers on again, words broken up.)

I like that, but by boy in the begining is it talking about after reach when he's older? just checking. love the story

Actualy, it refers back to the end when there being shiped out away from Harvest. Its just to give the story a compleat feeling. I figured hearing the kid talk before the action started like 2 minutes later would be a nice opening.
After the basic about 2 minutes of battle, it cools down, and the next morning the people are told about there dads and moms being KIA. From there the 2 boys and the girl go and see whats up and so on so fourth. Its quite a heart pounder if you thought about it as a REALY good movie.
Any how, keep up the comments!

Hey dude this looks like a really good start. I'll be more than glad to do special effects (muzzle flashes, explosion, etc...).

We might not need muzzel flashes. Either I will put scilencers/supressers on the weapons to make it so you dont need a flash, or I will have real blank firing weapons. It all depends on the funding.

Ok, if you've seen Saving Private Ryan, the movie starts with an old man. The script I made does something similar. At the end of my script, Andy is in the same possition, but its just after they get extracted from Harvest. Andy talks again, and the movie ends.
You know how good movies refer back to the begining, this is exactly what im trying to do here. Its just a mood setting, and I guess a little teaser for the end...

I know, I just don't have any other words right now for it. UFO is all I can think of at the moment, and for the past month. It cant be called a Covenant Cruser because they don't know what it is. Any ideas?

Marine 2- Corporal Lovik (WIA)

GREAT NEWS!!! I am now finished the script. Its edited and im now working out how to get everything needed to make the movie. depending on how everything goes, Im planning my first shooting day sometime in late January 2010. The movies opening is going to be in the winter, so its going to be about -10 degrees. It might be warmer, but judging by last years winter, its not going to be preaty!

Im going to wright a book instead of the movie because i don't have a starting budget to help get the materials I need for armour, weapons and such. A book is easier for the meantime, than I may develope the story some more, and give it a few more years of thought. THAN i might make it a movie, or get some one else to do it.

Ok, well, its about time I came back to this thread. Sorry Mods for bringing this back from the dead.
I've started to transform my script into a 250-350 page book. I can't do a movie because of my lack of funds because Im starting a 4 year airsoft AEG building from the ground up. Hopefully I will have the rough draft done by Christmas 2009, and by then I will have had time to talk to Bungie studios in person about the project and If I have permission to get it published. This is going to be a long treak, so keep support posts coming in because If I have nobody wanting this to be made, Im going to stop. By June 2009, if I get support from you all, I will share a cut down first draft with you all!
