There’s been a recent promo announcing that HaloWC tickets are almost sold out — which is pretty exciting for the studio!

That said, I know many of you in our community are planning to go. Rest assured, GA passes WILL be refunded if you're selected for the contest, and there are also opportunities to work the community corner booth, 321Foto, and more.

I just want to make sure everyone’s covered, especially our cosplayers, so unless otherwise noted, it’s a good idea to GO PURCHASE A TICKET.

I’d hate for the event to come around and for us to fall short of passes with the number of cosplayers planning to attend. We've updated the attendance list to include whether you’ve purchased a pass, which will help us process refunds if needed.

This is more of a legal footnote, not something our members should ultimately be concerned about. It is mostly going to come down how you represent your work so if you are taking FULL OWNERSHIP of a project that is down to stating "Hey, I modeled this from scratch" instead of giving credit to another maker who did the model work.

Again, This is not something I think you need to focus on for your specific usage case. That line is more for the Maker contest and disclosing source of resources used. It will not be used for the Cosplay contest otherwise.

Hello and welcome 405th Infantry Division to your HCS World Championship 2025!​

For our new recruits, and our returning members, we welcome and encourage you to join us at the HCS World Championship held here in Seattle Washington! This year marks the sunset year of Halo Infinite at HCS, so if you haven't gone to a HCS World Championship, this would be the perfect year to join your 405th brothers and sisters to this extraordinary event!

The HCS World Championship offers so much more than the E-sports championship, from a vibrant community stage, smaller tournaments, voice actor meets, and so much more! As we get details on all of the wonderful things you can some to expect from the event, we will be updating the lists below!

Highlight Events​

Halo Studios Museum Visit:
- Thursday (Schedule and signups TBD)


Doors Open Lineup:
- Friday-Saturday: 9:45am at skybridge hall
- Sunday: 10:45 at skybridge hall

● Must be ready in costume in skybridge hall, lined up for attendee entrance prior to designated time. Staff members will handle the organization of the lineup 15 minutes prior to doors open.


321 Foto Photo Ops:
- We will be manning the photobooth this year with cosplayers. This will be another opportunity to be sponsored with a badge for volunteering to man the photo booth. Signups and schedule TBD


Steve Downes & Jen Taylor Escort Team:
- Similar to the photo op, we will have cosplayers assisting in the escort of both Jen Taylor, and Steve Downes for both their entrances to the community stage, and for "bodyguarding" them during autograph signings at their table.


Group Photo Op:
- Where: Skybridge
- When: Saturday following heat 2 of the cosplay competition


Community Team Pop Up Events:
- These events are scheduled spontaneously and will not adhere to a fixed timetable. Communications regarding these events will be shared on an as-needed basis between the HS Community Staff and the designated HCS Media Team.
