now you're putting me to shame, i started my odst suit about a month ago and just never got back to it since i'm a bit short of cash for bondo, maybe after christmas. When i'm done with it though i'm goin to mold it.
Not exactly true. I was bored in Halo and had to face 2 hunters. Of course I shot one down. but the other I took down with only melee. This was on legendary so you know.
(We all know Cheif is just a clone of Chuck Noris that was streched to 7 feet tall)
BTW: Awesome armour dude. I may make a hunter sheild just for my paintball matches. Tell me how that works out for you.
Was there anything underneath the top layer of cardboard? As in was there different layers? If so, what did you use for the base? Great costume, by the way
I know it's been a while but between goin to high school during the day and college at night and work on the weekends it's hard to have some free time. this update will have the back piece constructed. in a short while i will be starting on the shoulders and the left bicep and the left fore arm. Expect to see those done by next week. once my finals are done i'll have bout 2 weeks to get situated.
Pictures aren't the greatest this time round. Hopefully i get that new camera for xmas

By top layer of cardboard are you referring to the top of the vest.? either way the whole suit is built in layered cardboard. When it is done the cb will be fiberglassed and the pulled out to leave the shell.
I have come up with a final paint scheme for the Hunter. Although it doesn't flow with halo it does flow with my paintball team which is what i want. The "skin" will stay the rusty orange but the rest of the armor will get a digi camo paint job. Hope this doesn't crush too many hearts.
The back looks like it sticks out more because in the game all the hunters are crouched which makes it stick out from the back. I used that same picture for reference of the back. Although i may angle ie a bit more i think the shape will do. the circle that are on the back are going to be the spike points
