So I had this really great idea of making armor....using plaster cloth and my own head as a base (we did it in school) and I made the Gladiator helmet it was really good

Post for content quality, not quantity. You can get banned for spamming the boards.

As for your original question, plaster is a bit too brittle and heavy for armor use. You can use it as mother mold material but that's it.
