Hello,

Just wanted to share some of my work. I started on these in January and still need to do some more work on them.

I'm fascinated with the idea of making a suit that's easy to wear and doesn't limit mobility too much, so a lot of my efforts are going into the fitting of these pieces. I also really like Pepakura, since it is clean and neat, and it seems like a pretty easy way to develop physical versions of 3D models.

Thanks to everyone who supports the site. I have found a lot of helpful and useful information on here.

I used 80lb paper for the following models, and lasercut the cut and fold lines (saves a lot of time). Then used fiberglass and resin.

Also, the center of the three helmets is one that I modified as a 3D model and then set up in Pepakura.

Looking good there bud... whose pep file did you use for the helmets?

The green helmet pep file is by DANNIFOOD4LESS.

The center one was the same, before I took it into Maya and modified it.

The pep file for the helmet in the back is by FLYINGSQUIRL.

Amazing start. With that torso done, you've got about half of the pepping work out of the way.

The only thing I'd recommend is using a grey primer to make imperfections show more clearly, so the bondo stage is cut drastically in length.

Good luck, and I'm ready for some updates. This looks very promising.
