The Laser Printer strikes again!
So a few months back, I posted a thread with some ONI ID badges that I made with my school's Laser Engraver out of Laserable Plastic. It's a pretty commonly used material as far as laser engravers go, but recently I tried something new. I found an image of a Tamriel Map online, photoshopped it a bit to make it a black and white outline and burned it into a piece of Duck Cloth. It's kind of like canvas. Here is the result. Tell me what you think.
It's burned into a 18"x24" piece of duck cloth
I found a celtic looking compass rose and added Dragon characters for North East South and West.
This part of the map may be pretty familiar.
Added a tiny Imperial insignia
This is a good picture for scale. You can also see the detail our laser engraver is capable of. This job took about an hour to etch.
This was a fun little experiment that may spawn future projects. I plan on tea-staining it to give it an old look. I'm going to make a decent amount of these then I may sell them on Etsy.
Questions/Comments are always welcome.
