Loess' Landfall Odst

Here's my second try at pepakura, NZ-TK's ODST helm.

And here I've got it sitting loose on my head with a MS paint visor.

My first pep model was Robogenisis' mk vi which i scaled a bit too small.
(if you're short but have an average sized head, scale it to a six-foot tall person. )

I'll resin and glass this after i practice on some Robogenisis hand plates.

I scaled mine to 27 as well, I'm only 5'4", but my head and shoulders are the same size as my dad's (he's 6' tall). I think that the scale is spot-on for me, if I changed it at all I'd probably go to 28cm.

Looks good to me. I am skinny, so 27 scale for a 5'8'' person would be my scale.

im 5'10" and with using 27 looked fine but if you go up to like a 28 i dont think it will make that much of a difference for the 15 + hours to make one of those

I made mine 2 sizes bigger just incase.

Yeah, 28 wouldn't be too much difference, and I like how this one fits at 27. The only reason to go larger would be to get some of the pieces to be large enough to work without a microscope. (The model is amazing, but that detail comes with some tiny little parts)

And I don't feel like making another one, since this helm took 20+ hours of assembly, not counting the time to cut out the parts.

Well done, you have folded it very neatly. I folded one of those myself, and they are bloody difficult. Cant wait ti see it detailed with bondo
