I made a template from cardboard

Used a 2*4 for a base and built the main parts out of foamboard

(still need to make the part that goes on the back)

Once I finish all the pieces, I will add detail and glue them together like this

But are you sure you wanted to use wood, you could have used aluminium plates...

And did you have to take the same name as one of the Moderators... very confusing... (especcially signature).
 
I dont have the tools to cut and weild together aluminum

And im trying to get my name changed but adams inbox is full

Hey i can send a message for DOOM he is sort of a friend of mine (We are both Finnish!!! Yai us!)

And aluminium is easy to cut since it is soft. (and aluminium cannot be welded.)

Aluminium plates are very cheap. 2.5mm plates (what im using). cost only 1.9dollars per square feet (that is im in Switzerland so they are probably cheaper in the US).

If you are cutting aluminium plates you will need a pair of metal cutter sheers. 5-20 dollars

And for cutting holes you can just use a normal drill head (note if you want to cut rectangles, like the 2 holes on each side of the ma5c you will need a special drill bit which will allow you to drag it so that you can extend the hole).
