why not drill little holes between the ridges in the loom? ever thought of that? just a suggestion. it would look cleaner (the ridges would stay parallel)

Reading my mind Cys. After making the holes in the loom I was going to cut some black cotton fabric glue that from the inside and then over that some metal screen wire to help keep it in place. The fans however are the best Idea I have ever seen! Kudos to MandoMan!

you could get laptop fans (pretty tiny) and stick them right on the tubular vents.
