Hey 405th. I abandoned this build for a while there, but my better half prodded me to continue. So, here is what I've done so far.

I substituted the normal "ab flap" for a double grenade pouch.

Forearm and hand plate. A bit rougher than what I see around the site, but I like it.

Greave pepped.

Stay tuned for more, folks.

The handplate looks a little big. But other than that everything looks great, keep at it.

I see what you mean, FS. Those are easy to redo, thankfully.

Also, if I may gripe publicly, I hate being tall and thin. My scaling ends up screwy.

How did you get the UNSC logo to look so clean and sharp? I need to add one to my armor and I'm not sure of the best way to go.

I scaled it on the computer, then printed it onto clear waterslide decal paper. It is tricky, but the results speak for themselves. Be sure to pick up the decal paper spray that comes with it, otherwise it is prone to tearing.

SirBrady, I used HaloGoddesses scaling method for the boots. I know they look smaller than what they really should be, but I'm satisfied with it. My next build ill size them better. I used the lining out of a pair of rollerblades, and the sole is made out of semi-truck mudflaps I got from work then cut to size.

For my build, I wanted to make a boot that is one self- contained piece. I see a lot of "shells" that fit over or around boots, but I wanted to take it a step further.
I bought a damaged mud flap from my job at a major auto parts retailer, and cut it to fit like so:

It fit together like so:

And then this jazz:

For the lining part in my previous post of the completed boot, I bought a pair of used rollerblades from Goodwill and used headliner adhesive (stronger stuff than you think) to attach them into the boot. Its a tight squeeze because of my slightly off scaling, but nothing some rondo love cant fix.

Happy building, folks.

Great idea with the shin buckles, ive been trying to figure out how to get mine to fit over my foot. Nice work!

Thanks RTW, it came about from me trying to use as few buckles as I could.

Now this pic isn't from my MJOLNIR build but i wanted to share it with everyone anyway.

Dragonscale Gauntlets!
I've pepped the plate sections and need to either buy or make gloves to go under it.

wow this is looking really good! ive been pretty nervous about getting to the boots, and it looks like youve got it down pretty good :D the color you went with looks good too, havnt seen the silver/gun metal, your gonna stand out!

Since this low definition piece came without supports, I'm trying to use toothpicks to help keep everything straight.

Thoughts?

Build is looking awesome! Keep it up!

Nice idea with the tacpad. Don't worry about making your suit to cannon standards. Make it your own, man. That's the best part to this whole enterprise. We make it how we want.

Grats on the promotion to Infantryman!
