I'm reaching out to see if there are any fellow 405th members currently located in Minnesota. I'm interested in getting involved with the 405th and would really appreciate any guidance or insight from those who are already part of the community—especially those nearby.


I do own a 3D printer, although it’s been giving me a bit of trouble lately. Still, I’m eager to dive into the cosplay side of things and would love to chat with anyone local about builds, armor tips, events, or just being part of the 405th.

Minnesota is part of the Midwest Regiment, and more specifically part of Harvest Battalion. Your direct CO is Skidmorpheus who will be able to help you get more engaged with the local community!

One final note is that as the 405th does have an organizational structure and several levels of volunteer leadership staff to help facilitate our real world convention, charity, and community event appearances, so while I see that "117 Gaming Squadron" is the name of your PodCast, signing your posts here on the Forum as a "Commander" might cause some confusion with the staff members here who oversee and our responsible for our local units as Regiment and Battalion Commanders respectively.

Welcome to the 405th! Theres actually a good handful of us in MN. Im based down in the Rochester area while everyone else is located in and around the twin cities, where we have an Armory where we do a build weekend once a month when possible, with one happening this weekend actually. Skidmorpheus is the Harvest Battalion Commanding Officer, and is also the host of said armory. We would love to have you out this weekend if youre available, just DM Skid for the address and details!

Thanks for the reply. If you are having a get together this weekend that would be awesome to come check it and meet everyone. I did message Skidmorpheus earlier asking to have a chat with him, he hasn't replied yet but maybe he will bring up the Armory meetup this weekend when he does.

I am very excited to see what all you have created and how it was created.
