My 1st Project

Finally some progress I can hold onto! I finished the base of my chest piece. It fits perfectly, until I put the two halves together. But, that only means that I can't slip it on and off.



Next step with this is to Pep the EVA and Security Add-ons. Yeah, it's the simple chest I know but I plan to put in the details with some 1/8" display board. I can hardly wait! And now pics:

Hey fellow 405th Troops, I need some help... I spent the last couple of days starting on my new helmet which I'll post images of later. Maybe tomorrow. But I've also been searching for some pep files I can't seem to find. The pieces are from the EVA chest and Security helmet. From the EVA chest I can't find a pep for the piece that goes over the front of the shoulder (The smaller circle). And for the security head I can't find the COMS device thing. If you know where I can find them drop me a link or a line if you're working on them. Here's the image:

Well....This build looks good, but is that tape holding it together in the first post?

It is. I'm gonna use a coat of PVC Glue before I Resin.

I've made great progress with my armor both chest and helmet.



With my helmet, I finally got the size right on my fourth try plus a little trimming. As I look it over I'm even happier with the visual scale of the helmet. I also have a flight deck helmet/harness to secure the helmet to after I get it resin and bondo done. I'm excited!

My chest pep is coming along ever so nicely. On standby for now until I get my helmet pep done but it's nearly done as far as pep is concerned. My next step is the security add on for the shoulder.

Also approaching the front line of this project is a gold tinting spray I found online. When it comes in I'm going to test it on a piece of plastic to see how well it works. Until later!

That is the E.V.A. Chest



Anywho, I have updates but no pics yet. My camera is missing and I can't my the data cable for my phone. I had to restart my Helmet for the last time. I pretty much said "fudge it" and went with no scaling adjustments and put together the Smooth Pep. It's 99% done and nearly the whole bottom is cut out. But the point is, it fits! Chest still hangs over my bed, still needs the comm piece for the shoulder. Pictures coming.
