hey guys, this is my first build post in a long time so i figured update you guys with my Clone Trooper cosplay that’s in the works! it’s almost done, i guess it’s around 80-85% done. as usual i’ll update the forums and post a test fit when it’s all done, so stay tuned! look at the attached files for the photos of the armor. (still thinking which helmet phase to use for this armor.) feel free to give me some advice on how to improve the armor’s build as it’s a WIP still!

i do not have velcro attached to the clone trooper armor but it is turning out very well. trying to fix the thigh parts for better mobility. will show photos of the final product soon

This is shaping up really well. The overall proportions and surface consistency look solid, especially for a WIP at this stage. The chest and abdomen alignment reads clean, and it’s good to see you already thinking about mobility instead of locking everything down too early. Since you’re dialing in the thigh movement, I’m curious what approach you’re leaning toward for articulation and attachment long-term.

Are you planning a floating/strapped thigh setup to preserve range of motion, or integrating a more rigid mount tied into the belt or cod?
Clone armor can get tricky there, and I’d be interested to hear what’s worked (or hasn’t) for you so far. Looking forward to the test fit update.
