Good idea with the expanding foam for the boots. I was thinking of a way of having it stay together. How well does it stay? Nice work btw

So this is extremely late and I apologize. I joined the Air Force so that took up some time Um, it held okay... on a scale of 1-10 (1 being it fell apart instantly 10 being it could last through a nuclear war) it was maybe a 4. My issue was that my boot pieces merely covered the shoes I wore so when pressure was applied against those pieces when walking around it would flex a bit and after awhile the seal on the foam broke and the pieces fell off. This could be fixed by adding a fiberglass support from one edge to another that would run underneath the shoe of choice, therefore holding it in place and the foam would then be of better use.

So time has passed and I have totally forgotten I left this thread unfinished and you all have my apologies! Anyways, I never got some solid pictures of the finished product but I have alot of random photos my friend took before we set out on halloween to show off a bit.
