I’ve finished, and, I’m honestly disappointed. I expected it to look better. I’d give it a 4/10.

TooBlue, you can totally salvage this build, it doesn't look too bad at all. Especially for a first time build.

First off, the chest plate and back plate aren't connected, so some strapping over your shoulders will fix that. The shoulders look ok as is, so don't beat yourself up to much.

I'd add a strap under the arms to attach the back to the chest. That will prevent it from sticking out like a crazy back wing.

The paint job could use a (slightly) lighter color green to add effect, then go over it with clear matte finish, and it'll look better.

You got this, man. It looks good.

I agree w/ Sean Anwalt. You're missing a lot of strapping points. That will greatly enhance the look and realistic aspect of a military type build. Also the thighs look like they need a bit more contouring around the leg itself. Pouches and web-belt couldn't hurt as well. Accessorize, HALO style.

A little more heat forming might help as well. I see a lot of the parts are pretty flat. Since its already painted, heat the foam from the back side and give the parts a curve. Doing this will help the part conform to your body, and fit a little more snug.

Get a duty belt or outer belt, attach it to your regular belt with keepers, and run a strap from the outer belt to the thigh plates. That will help hold them a little higher, as well.

In my defense I am slow at typing and then I forgot to press the post button. By the time I came back and posted my response, you had already given the same advice.
It's a lame reason but it's true and I'm sticking with it.
