My first project: Storm trooper helmet PIC HEAVY

Hey all!
This is my first ever attempt at anything to do with modelling/cosplay. I am almost finished pepping and I am excited to move onto the next steps.

I really want to do a Deadmau5 helmet after I finish this one. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

im talking about the nose area itself seems to be going to one side. but again, sonicboomer, you did an amazing job for your first time

The only thing i see wrong with it are the top 3 strands of the dome on the right side look a little warped. Nothing bondo wont fix though. Thats some pretty solid work, good job.

Hey guys,
What do you think I should use for the eyes? I want them dark enough so others cant see in. I would think just some old sunglasses but how do you get the shape right?

Why don't you buy them from some of the armor builders? Most are pretty expensive lens. A pair I saw cost only like $2.00.

hey that looks good! what size did you scale yours to, cuz i just built one of those too. i made mine to 300mm. i didnt fiberglass/resin/bondo mine yet, its just collecting dust now.

I scaled mine to about 310mm so should be about the same size. Mine fits pretty well but there is no foam in it yet so I hope it doesnt throw it all out of wack

hey i don't know if you've done the eyes yet but i would get some thin clear plastic sheet and cut it down to size and use some window tint of the darkness you choose, just an idea
