My Halo Helmet Creations

Ive decided that i will make all of the helmets in halo 3, and when i find reach permutation files, those too. Ive peped the E.O.D., the C.Q.B., the HD Master Chief, and ive finished the low res. mark 6 as well. I have 8 more to do to have all 11 helmets in halo 3. These are some pix of my progress so far...

I plan to fiberglass rein the outsides and fiberglass clothe and resin the inside. Then sand, and smooth. Then using oil based clay, detail some parts and fill in the cracks around the visor. With craft foam, make reliefs etc. if you go on ithica's youtube account (herphalfwayhouse) and watch his c.q.b. videos then thats the idea of it... I really admire his craftsmenship! i hope these come out as good as his... Id make silicone molds of them and reproduce them in plastic...

Thats a great idea for a build Dmango! Just make certain that you have enough shelf space to display them afterwards

I will be watching this closely. I like the detail put into the already made master chief helmet. Did you use the shirt method for the black? where you spray more paint then needed and wipe it off with a shirt?

Thanks, ive been pretty busy so i didnt have time to pep any more, but ill start the smooth recon V2 tonight, i dont remember who made it, but thank! i have fencing practice from 7-9 tonight though so i probably wont get much done... I should get it done in the next 2-3 days though hopefully

Hey sorry, im probably only going to update on the weekends, pictures anyway, the recon helmet is pepped and im starting the HD hayabusa... i get to work onmy AR this weekend so im looking forward to all of that. Ill update the pix of the recon and maybe start a new thread for my Ar this weekend.

Thanks! and sorry for being so slow on this everyone. Ive had alot to do with school, sports, and now all this endless shopping... wen i get a chance ill post pix of the 5 helmets i have... im waiting on the weather to warm up... i dont have much hope cause winters started and itll get colder still. Sorry for the lack of progress and also if anyone knows how to scale high def armor files by crackhead (calves, etc.) robogenesis and flying squirrel (torso) to the same scale as the low def armor files by robogenesis can u please help!!! um its tricking me cause they are different scale factors and different dimensions... Thank you!!!
