My Reach multiplayer spartan build

This is my first build, and I wanted to do it of how my spartan looks in Halo Reach. This is what he looks likes.

I have no idea how I'm going to fake having a robot arm so I am going to not even try, but other then that any tips or anything like that are welcomed, I have the helmet done and I will be uploading pics soon.

You can't do the skinny robot arm, but there's nothing stopping you from making it just arm sized! I've seen a few neat robot arms on this site, and regardless of whether it's skinny or normal, it doesn't matter, still looks cool! If you want the robot arm, you can make it happen! Can't wait to see your pictures of the helmet.

Just the default reach chest would be the first thing to make. Those straps and the knife are ones you'd mod on after. And... that thing in the center might have a pep out there but I haven't seen it.. That's the parafoil set, right? This guy did it with foam:

Thanks a ton for that, I'm definitely going to use that link for help when I get further along in the build. And I will be starting the chest sometime tonight or tomorrow.

Here is a update on my build, I am working on the chest piece now and its looking go so far

also I realized that I made the helmet too big so I am going to have to make another one

Hey everyone I have a update on the chest armor I have been working on, it is almost done all that is left is the very bottom part, next I am going to redo the helmet, this time I'm not going to re-size it and hopefully it will be the right size. Oh, and here is what the armor looks like.

I got the first coat of resin on the outside done, now I'm waiting for it to dry.

found a better recon helmet pep so I'm going to give that a try and see if it works better

Hey everyone got a quick update for you, I have a coat of resign on the inside of the chest now and I just finished the helmet I worked on yesterday and today and thought I would do a side by side of the two helmets.

the one on the left is the first one I made and the one on the right is the one I just finished. As you can see the one on the left would make me look like a bobble head.

New update, got both shoulders and add on done take a look.

Now I'm on to the forearms and I'm also trying to find either a pep file for sniper bullets or some prop ones for cheap. Also hoping to get some more replys, I can working hard on this stuff and am hoping to get others opinions and views on how I'm doing.

Just got a Nerf Longstrike today and I'm hoping to turn it into a DMR, any tips are welcome

yea I know that you mean, there are these 2 pieces that are just odd, I know where they go, but it doesn't seen like they should

Where did you get the file for the sniper shoulder i have the file but not the unfold where did you get the unfold. Nice build!

For the sniper rounds you can go online and buy .50BMG dummy rounds to use

I can't remember where I got it from but if you want I can send you the file. If I'm aloud to that is.

thanks for that, I was thinking that myself, I have done a little work on it with my dremel to change the stock and shorten the barrel add on.
