My Recon Helmet

Hey,,



this is my first pepakura project, and i started a recon helmet.

A few pictures.

This is the pepakura model only, no resin or fiberglass.

It looks good for the most part, but I can see a few areas, especially above the visor part where it doesn't align perfectly. Nothing that a little bondo and sanding can't fix though. But again, it is your first, so not bad.

Aaaand you should try using the Smooth model. Saves a lot of time, and isn't really that hard. Looks better too!

That's great for a first try! I remember my first MC helmet looking more like a bag of nachos :unsure can't wait to see this finished.

Nice! just as halo goddess said though, there are some tiny unsymmetrical parts but it shouldn't be hard to fix.

Looking good. What did you use to harden it? And yea some bondo work would really smooth those edges out.

I dont think i go smooth out those ridges.

I think it looks pretty good.

I used alabastine resin and fiberglass to harden it.
