The boots look really good! Both you and Calladar have made a nice pair of boots from foam. Did you use the pepakura models as templates?? I want to figure out how to make the boots come out nice and rounded with the foam, but I'm afraid they will come out looking like the pair that Calladar did for his wife's Kat build. XD

I use a heatgun to get the parts nice and rounded, you can join your pep seams in the rounded areas prior to cutting the foam, then shape it with the heatgun. You can eliminate alot of seams by joining the pep files together prior to cutting the foam and afterwards if you need more definition you can burn or cut lines in the back of the foam. Keep practicing

I originally did want to put a pair of shoes on the inside, but it did not look right in my perspective. So with some extra layering, detailing, and adding soles, I turned them into a perfect fitting pair of boots. I used the combination of acenat's and ruze's pieces to format all of it. Which then I used my electric knife and began shaving off the corners repeatedly until it was more of round and shoe shaped lol. Then I used my dremel tool to smooth the rest out. Then a disc to carve the detail in.

its just cutting a piece to be flesh with the rest of bottom of the boot, reverse the siding to the grip surface is facing out (er down). Might get a layer of rubber soles or something to attach to the bottom instead

Yeah I know there's one from that project dawn under heaven, check out timecon's build, he made it. You do, however, have to donate like 50 bucks to the project and they give you all the pep files from the movie

yea, i knew about that, but as im going back to school, dont seem to have that kind of money to give away, I really wish i could though for that project

also, i am giving up on the MK VI helmet, i just finished sanding the bondo and (i have no idea how i didnt notice this) but the brim was all warped and crooked, and the base expanded and is crooked as well

Holy that looks amazing. What is the size of your torso? I have to build a suit for someone that's about 5'11" and around 170lb weight. I try to figure out the size of the torso, any help form you would be nice.

as being 5'10" and 145 lbs. i have the torso scaled to 390mm so i guess for your friends i would say roughly 410-420.
