new pepakura files website

so i am planning on making a brand new website with halo pepakura files that gets updated very often, it hopefully will include halo reach pepakura because of the lack of them on the halo costuming wiki!
here is the concept:

well to be honnest i dunno how well known you are with coding
but id say use a bar instead of a top down like that

like:

- marine
- vehicles

and so on would work allot better
also the buttons dont fit the rest of the theme imo...

but a good start non the less ^^

I like the name trick ^^.

It looks pretty, I would just put the menu on the left side instead of the middle, so you have space for things such as news in the middle.

I think the UI looks sweet, but a bit of an overkill. But it would be awesome to have a site that doesn't get hacked all the time and files stolen etc etc.

Will this be a flash site and fluid? If so keep in mind there are some users out there that are still on slow slow internet speeds and not equipped for flash etc.

Just a little of my input.

no flash i kept that in mind already probably silverlight or html. i knocked this up in five mins from images already lying on my computer any other ideas for it?

Looks great !! It would save tons of time finding the files . If link directly connected to the 405th on the front page it would cut back on the number of lazy threads people start !!!! The lazy threads I’m talking about is when somebody posts asking for Master chief helmet file and they joined yesterday lol

Not cool. You don't have permission from the modelers/unfolders to host these files on another server. The reason that the wiki is not updated quickly is because of this reason plus it's supposed to be the "best" model/unfold on the 405th. You show no respect to the people who created them.

I like this idea. Just make sure you ask permission and credit every single creator and unfolder. As long as that is done there should be no problems.

You know there is a pep file section that is in progress for this website right. I'm all for having the peps in one spot for easy access but they should be all in-house

hey could some one who is an infantryman post a thread in the 3d modeling forum request permission for the new website.
once i get permission i will probably start the website on wikia so that it can start straight away and then when i finish the website i will change the interface!
