While im waiting to get more foam, i started work on my spartan weapons, starting with the covenant energy sword. Then i redid my thighs for the security and finally started a mini practice run with the chest.

What are you using to hold your seams together? We all have to start somewhere but it seems like you may want to take a bit more time with your cuts and using the right method to hold them together because what ever you are using seems to be “ozzing” out from your seams and no amount of plastidip is going to be able to cover that up. It’s your first suit, enjoy the process, love that you’ve created and always try to improve on your next piece!

Im using kwik seal and contact cement for this process

The thing to remember about contact cement is that if you use it right out of the bottle, you can’t just press two pieces together and it holds. Less is more, what you want to do is apply the contact cement to both sides you’ll be wanting to join and let the glue get tacky. Once it’s tacky and you press the two sides Together and align them with pressure you will get a seamless seal. Some people don’t have the patience so they use hot glue. Regardless just try to be a little bit more accurate with your cuts and more patient when joining seams together. All in all you’re doing great man, hope what I am saying makes sense

So you'll be my height.....(w/o my armor on ;)).....but is it scaled correctly? They are MASSIVE.....I just can't get past it....How are you going to put you arms down after you have your chest and shoulder pieces on? I'm sorry you're a big guy, no insult intended (i'm kind of on the big side as well but working on that), but you aren't THAT BIG......

Oh i tested numerous times on this. I did use my shins height when i first did this and found out that they was slighty bigger than my shins height
