Can I use Polyester Resin for fiberglassing?
I know I should be using Polyurethane or Aqua Resin. But there's no way to get those in Singapore. Aqua Resin is not brought into Singapore, Polyurethane is ridiculously expensive ($100 SGD for 500g Resin + 500g Hardener. That's $76.02 USD!)
I know that the tensile strength comes from the Fiberglass not the Resin. So is it possible to use this?
Would this affect me in the future when I do the spray painting, decaling, filing, shaping, etc?
Esp when I'm gonna make grooves and extrusions etc.
Please advice!
