Ohio Booth Build - Ideas

It is important to note that with the current wall setup (6 full walls, 2 half walls) with about 2 panels per wall, we'd be looking at $227.22 - $390.18 in cost of just those panels. I still have Home Depot gift cards and can use them for that however I need to know what route we'd prefer.

I believe we'd want about 12 of the Dundee panels to cover all walls we currently have? So about $334.44. If interested, I can order at least one panel and see how it looks in size.
I think the Dundee panels would be the way to go. We could do a circular saw to do 3 panels for 2 walls I believe. We might have enough scraps to do the half walls after the full. It would also save cost and time with paint.

I'll help cover the cost for them.

If you need more hands on deck for the 8/23+8/24 weekend, let me know.
As Cacti said, we would love to have you out! With the short list, there's plenty space and opportunity for all to keep busy with either painting or wall stands it seems. With your weekend time being limited, that decision is up to you!

I should be able to come out on 8/23 as well. Let me know what time ya'll plan on starting.
In July we finally got the ball rolling around noon, but like last time we can keep the start window open around 10:30am - 11am. That'd be awesome to have you out here again!

While on the road for work last week, in SketchUp I took the dimensions Home Depot had for the panels and created rectangles to lay out over six walls. With the brick panel I already have and (8) ordered, we should have enough to cover the main walls and (2) half walls.

I believe these are meant to be adhesived on? Something to think about for this weekend. I've not worked with something like this before. They're thin but could provide a nice texture to the bottom of the walls.

I'm going to guess some sorta caulk. We can look it up and go to Menards during the day.

Send me a link to the panels and what kind of boards are we using? ill ask my wood contacts.

Maybe even get a couple of tubes on a 5 finger discount (with approval of course)

I intend to go buy the paint and supplies needed for the walls. We’ll start with a gallon of each first and go from there.
Paints used will be :
Behr Whitewash Oak
Behr Wells Gray
Primer

About the paint, I bought paint & primer mixed for each color. It may require more coats but I'm thinking we'll be ok. Anyone with experience painting wooded surfaces think otherwise?
Thread post showing paint cans : Ohio Booth Build - Ideas

We'll be following the guidelines of this video where the two colors are mixed and hashed over each other to create the look of concrete wall.
