Will the crotch peice hold up when I sit down?
Im making mine out of fiberglass and resin, is that strong enough to a bodies weight?

Just put more layers of fiberglass in the back end and reinforce the "joints" or pieces around it and you'll be okay.

I don't think it will support it without deforming.

You might want to remove it, because the front of the crotch hit your abs when trying to sit.

But to answer your question, if you sit flat and squarely on it maybe but as said before it would be uncomfortable.

In my first suit I made the back of the cod piece detachable. it works well and u dont have to use all tha extra glass.
