Pepakura build

So I've started with my pepakura build of a Mk. VI helmet. I printed it on 8.5x11 paper and the program told me that the file was not scaled for my printer or something like that. After looking at my print outs flr a while it looks like the helmet isn't going to be large enough to wear. Am I wrong about this?

If it won't fit over you're head but fits your neck, make it in halves and put it on that way.

The file could be set for A4 instead of letter size paper some files are. Check the paper and printer settings.

It could be that^^, or it could be that the file is set up in landscape and your printer setting are in portrait (or vice versa). You have to make sure the printer settings match what is displayed on the 2D side of the pep window and the type of paper you're using.
