I managed to get assemble the arm brace, it’s definitely a bit rough around the edges but with enough dremelling, priming, and painting it should look alright. I’ll definitely have to redo the hands because they’re much too small but I’ll get there eventually.

I figured out a way to mount the head for my elite cosplay without it wobbling, the helmet is unfinished and I’ll add mesh and fabric around the neck but this is just a test fit

Don’t worry y’all, I haven’t abandoned this project, just working on it when I get the time and motivation currently filling in some seams. It’s not perfect but I’m not quite finished. I’m not forcing myself to have a deadline so I don’t get too drained, I’ll finish when I finish

Currently working on the shoulder pieces and adding foam clay to the gaps, they still need a lot of work (sanding, priming, painting) but at least it’s some progress

I was thinking about doing the red and white coloration from the prologue cutscene but I'm having trouble getting good reference images for the back of the armor. Also Im not terribly knowledgeable about the lore of these guys, if anyone has any info on them please let me know. Thanks!

Just a little update: don’t worry y’all, I haven’t abandoned this build. I’m back at college so I gotta wait for the next break to work on this beast again now that I have a duct tape dummy I’m gonna work on my muscle suit when I get the time!

Got a start on the muscle suit, I know the anatomy isn’t perfect but it’s gonna be covered with fabric and armor anyways lol, I just needed to beef up my frame a bit

I put the suit on my duct tape dummy and basically hot glued em on there lol, I’m gonna add stretchy fabric over then eventually

Lmaoo it makes up for my lack of biceps Irl, and I may shave em down a bit depending on how the armor fits.

Decided to lengthen the mandibles a bit with some foam clay because they felt a bit too short. Gonna add texture and paint once it dries. I’m also working on the thigh armor but I’m waiting on some more foam and contact cement to arrive to finish em

Still got a lot to work on but here’s a lil test fit. I ordered some more foam so I’ll get to work on the chest piece when that comes in. For now it looks like he has a lil pot belly lol
