Halo 2 anniversary elite build (inspired by nick yelsa)

Hey all! It’s been a bit since I’ve posted but I wanted to share my progress of a halo 2 anniversary elite cosplay I’ve been working on. I’m mainly using pepakura templates and Eva foam along with some foam clay for details. Yelsanick0117 ‘s beautiful cosplay has inspired me to make one of my own. I’m planning on doing a red color variation. You may have seen the jackal I’ve worked on in another thread, and I’ve basically abandoned that project for numerous reasons (improper materials, not enough research, messed up proportions, etc) but hey, it was a good learning experience. I’ve done a lot more research for this cosplay and I’m going to be putting a lot of time and effort into it.

Made some progress on the head, plasti dipped it, added paint, and added gel medium to the teeth and gums, I may make the face more grey

Sorry for the lack of activity, I promise I’m still working on my elite I’m nearly done with the hands (probably gonna add matte varnish and yaya Han hex fabric on the arms) and I’ve also been working on the helmet which still needs a lot of work and some more pieces but here’s a sneak peek of that also

What did you use as a base for the hands?
I’m guessing cleaning gloves?

Definitely giving me the motivation to start working on my elite build again .

thank you! And yes, the base is cleaning gloves I’d love to see more elites so that’d be sick!

Just an update for y’all: I recently started college so I don’t have as much time to work on my cosplay but I intend to work on it whenever I get breaks, just letting y’all know why it’s taking me so long

Ayy nice! Can’t wait to see it! And yeah I’ve been busy with college so I haven’t been able to get much done but I’m hoping I can work on it over winter break soon

I have the foam pieces cut out for one of the arm braces, I’ll update when I get it assembled! (May not be tonight due to work though)
