I went to 3 motorcycle dealerships in Waco and looked all over ebay and ebaymotors and there seemed to be a pretty consistent trend. Good news and bad news.

Cheapest blue reflective visor I could find for my ODST was $45

Compound curve gold visors are now around $10-15 (Good news for Mk VI builders)

Everybody said it's because the blue stuff isn't being made as much anymore or their suppliers have stopped carrying it. The compound curve visors have become more popular recently. Blessing and a curse I guess.

What's your take on this? Chime in if you have additional info.

Although the gold visors are cheaper, they're hard to get. Well, at least for my local motorcycle shop it is. I've ordered an HJC gold visor about 5 months ago, and still nothing. They contacted HJC and said they were short on supply. Has anyone encountered this problem?

hUH? I got a blue vizor for 10euro... They had it in stock. And if i ordered a golden one at my local motor shop it costed 60 (not shipping included)
xD wtf??

must be only in your areas there sigma. the shop i go to its he same price for all lenses still sitting at 60$

Huh, a month ago I went to the local dealership and got a blue iridium visor for $25-$30.

i was actually looking at that visor when i saw this topic. The compound curve gold one. Does it seem like it's not very gold though? maybe it's just the pic but i feel like it would distort colors too much to look like MCs

I did find an awesome number of good stuff for helmet use like breath boxes (anti-fog) and helmet liners (instant padding) here.

Well getting a HJC gold visor here costs about 45$ since they are illegal on roads. So we have to order them from eBay USA, pay 35$ for UPS and 10$ for the visor o_O

My "Dark Smoke" visor cost me 35$. It not even irridium lol.

Waco Motosports on Franklin had 1 but it was display and mucked up a bit. The Harley dealership had a couple but were on the expensive end as expected. The Moto shop on 17th had 2 for $10 plus tax and I nabbed 1.

DarkSlitter found some 20 dollar visors at CycleGear.com
They are not HJC visors, but he has the measurements of the visor in this post. Searching through their inventory also turned up this option for $25. The second one looks a little bit bigger in the pics, and both models are available in Iridium Gold or Iridium Blue.
