Because AVP is a terrible attempt at bringing back two great movie franchises.

All main characters have the IQ of 12 and the concept of the xenomorph being an intelligent, patient creature is thrown out the door because stupid directors don't know the definition of the word "cannon".

Those old alien movies happen to be the only thing that keep the series from collapsing.

I just hope Halo doesn't have the same fate.

Idiots who have no idea what the're doing may be climbing into our cockpit. We can't let that happen.

Actually I'm just meaning to point out that you're welcome to post your thoughts like this, but theres not much any of us can say 'on-topic' that can follow that up.. And speaking of 'on-topic' this thread could use somma that!

Funny thing is that while I was looking those images up I had a harder time finding Halo images that I did Alien images.

'Old movie' ,eh? It's clearly the basis for Halo, albeit somewhat altered.. maybe time to brush up on your old movies.

Actually anybody who knows the company well enough knows that they're mostly fans that made it to that career, they're always honoring their inspirations with references to stuff like this. They're not ripping off anybody, they're just referencing the stuff that inspires them.

Right but they based almost their entire game off of these "inspirations". Don't get me wrong, I don't see fault in it. I <3 Halo CE but I just want to give credit where credit is due.
