So when are we gonna see progress? Your thread has drifted halfway down the page.

When I find a way to transfer pictures from the camera to my own PC. I usually transfer and upload using my fathers PC, but he took it with him when he went to work off shore. (He works on an oil platform). I'll see what I can do about that issue. ;)

Ah, finally... Somehow Linux doesn't let me transfer pictures, so I had to change the OS and use Vista instead. Only problem was that Vista is slow... But I had no other option. But enough talking, more showing!

In this picture, you can see where I have spackeled a few areas on the BR, to hide grains and holes. But more Spackeling will commence once I have glued all the piceces together, and when I'm satisfied.

Here is another picture, where you can see the front grip is glued into place. It is currently filed and sanded down, but this is an old picture.

Here is the Clip, and the decals are just glued onto it. The entire clip is currently more or less done, but this picture too is old.

And here is the godly BR, with a godly light shining on it. ;)

A video will be posted soon, but it has more than the BR in it. Just wait a moment, and I'll have it up.

*UPDATE*

Video Time nao plx? :3

Again, you put my stuff to shame...
I need to go buy some plywood.

Just don't give up on your own projects. You can always become better at what you're doing. ;)

And for Materials, use 4mm thick plywood and 12mm thick splint wood plates. (Splint plates are made of recycled wood splinters. Try searching at your local wood dealer. ;))
I will write a tutorial now as I post this. ;)

Hey V1p3r have you ever used MDF? You should check it out. Its super smooth on both sides, cuts like wood and paints really well after sealing. It might be usefull on your builds.
Keep up the good work it looks great.

Medium density fiberboard. It is a wood based product. Its like super fine wood material with some sort of bonding agent that holds it together. I use it alot. I find it easier to build with. Alot of people use it in custom auto interiors, like for surrounds, cabinets and under door panels. One of the best parts about it is there is no grain. Most home improvement store carry it, but it depends were you are.

Oh wow, that IS what I use! I didn't know what it was called. xD

I think the stuff you're using is particle board. MDF is super compressed and really smooth. I could be wrong but that's what it looks like in the pics

I also think you have particle board there, Jswift is right. MDF is like that but way smoother. No kind of chunks or grain.

yeah, its what a lot of IKEA furniture is made out of, you can definitely tell the difference, MDF is much more dense.

Good, good. ;)
Just keep improving what you think is good. You'll be surprised how much it can be improved. ;)

I remember when I first made the Magnum. At first I thought it was good, and that I didn't have to do more work on it. Then I realized that it sucked, and I made a new one. And the new one is just getting better and better!
