Samus Pep Files?

i am quite interested...I am a huge fan of the metroid series

Since this thread basically went no where, I've been messing with the Turbo Squid model a bit seeing as I finally got a copy of LightWave installed on this Mac.

I've got the helm about half unfolded, but I'm going to need a test build after I release the file...would any of you guys be interested?

Depends on what the model looks like,

Im sure someone will be willing to make one once you get it done.

It's not that bad, it's just I couldn't import the file into c4d, and Macs don't run 3DS...and my pc is $#!T.

It's low rez enough so it should be a simple build, it's just...how to say, odd. I've never really seen a 3d model I've unfolded look like this. All the edges are joined, so there aren't any gaps, it's just the folds look awkward.

I'll post a screen when I get home from work to show the model.

I don't know why you guys are still trying to unfold the Samus helmet file. There's a detailed helmet that was posted here by h1spartanfromhell some time back and it's already unfolded.

I understand what you're saying, but it still is a cool helmet and makes a good display or somthing. Just because we make it doesn't mean we have to wear it.

Lol, I'm just saying but, your right on the look of the helmet, it's awesome. Well at the time I wasn't thinkin of it as a display at the but, meh your right.

Is it possible for someone to unfold this? I'm sorry for the noobness, but I am not that familiar with the pep program. Also, I can't find the english website to find the full version.

How can you say that the model "isn't that accurate" when it came the website you quoted?

Or are you referring to that low-def model dated 11/26/2007?

@Ral Partha - yes, I was reffering to the model from november. It is a lot more accurate to the game model than the high-def one.

I've heard of the .pz3 format but not I've never heard of .pk3 before. Which program uses this?

Here's the screen of what I'm working on (same as the previous, but simpler - I removed the hosing around the jaw because it's supposed to be hosing...not paper).
