Wouldn't you need to filter it? paints sometimes congeal a bit which forms clots.....its fine when painting as it would lay flat...but going through an air brush? Even if you water it down, those clots will remain.

Dirtdives hit the nail on the head, clogs are often paint that builds up either inside the nozzle or in the recess of the needle cap. The needle cap is easy enough to clear up with a bit of cleaner and paper towel, buildup inside the nozzle sometimes means a disassembly and clean of the brush, sometimes you luck out and can get away with feeding cleaner through.

Im gonna try amd avoid air brushing where possible as its another heavy outley! And the flex paint is meant to be smooth even brushed

Here's a quick clip I recorded with the FlexiPaint clear. It was brushed on so there are visible strokes.

I applied 2 or 3 coats but no final coat. I didn't get that silicone stuff. Painting over it removed the tack.
