Overlord_Ian: The gun is the next thing on my list.

Viper_Legends: The Mark VI cod piece is much more functional and detailed than the currently available Mark V codpiece. Also, you can't really tell most of the time its a different codpiece.

RadioactiV777: For $15 it's not too bad, a little undersized definitely but the design and details are amazingly close.

Eh, I'm in New Mexico, and I'm just 15, and half Mexican. It should be about full scale down here ;)

I heard a group on Campus was playing capture the flag tonight...I decided it would be a good chance to try out my armor.
I made so many new friends!

They did not know where the Red Team's flag was.

Caboose hates the ground....Just like Iron Man!

That looks so much fun man!
Great job on the AR, my only problem with it is the barrel, you should replace it or something.
But still, beautiful.

Barrel replacement is up on list of things to do when I get the time before Halloween :)

Wore the full suit for the first time this weekend at Mid-Ohio Con and took second place in the costume contest.

Sorry you lost dude. :( Who won?

I did not mind at all losing to who I did. He was a very nice gentleman who had an incredible Battlestar Galactica Viper Pilot costume that he actually made/sewed himself. He did an excellent job, even got the same fabric they use in the show which is next to impossible to do since you have to get a enough people together to order an industrial size bolt of fabric, like 300 yards, becuase that's the only way the manufacturer will sell it. We talked for a while and I was glad he won.

Plus I still won 20 bucks, a messenger bag and 3 posters :)

I would like to meet this guy if I ever could in the future. Still, congrats to your Second Placeness!

No plans to mold right now. There was discussion a few months back about the possibility of turning this suit into a basis for vac-forming, since the Mark V would be easier to vac-form, as there are not as many sharp details to lose like they are with the Mark VI. It is those sharp details that cause vac-forming issues with Mark VI armor.

Look for a big update in two weeks, since I will most likely be doing a professional photoshoot with this armor. :)

Awesome job on the suit man! I'm glad the whole thing came together so well. You can really give a guy inspiration for doing another Mk V :D .

Mid-Ohio Con?! Awww, I wish I would've know you were going, I could've made it there.

Your suit looks great! I really like the blue. ;p

Sweet job dude. I am glad to see that you finally finished yours. Mine is actually just about done as well and will feature a blue/silver paint job. Oh and ... OHIO SATE FTW!!

Just a teaser, more pics after tonight....

I call this one:
